I’m so happy that we are well into the autumn season now. The temperature has finally dropped (after a warm spell last week of 28°C/83°F in New York!), and the boots and scarves are officially on. Whilst I’m pretty sure this time of year is everyone’s favorite for many reasons, for me it’s all about the creativity it brings out in people. From decorating homes to making costumes, you get to see so much personality and flair in those around you. However, just in case you’re in need of some inspiration, check out these awesome creative (and no carve) pumpkin decorating ideas.
Heading to the Kentucky Derby this weekend or hosting a Derby themed party and wondering what to wear? Here’s a quick and easy tutorial on how to make your own last minute fascinator!
Did you guys get crafty for this year’s Super Bowl? I decided to treat myself over the Christmas period and splurged on a Cricut Explore! So far it has been amazing, so easy to use and the possibilities are endless. Recently I’ve been creating my own SVG files through Illustrator and importing them in to the Cricut Design Software however I decided to try out a couple of Cricut’s featured projects for our friend’s Super Bowl party. These Football Mason Jars and Favor Boxes were so quick and simple to make (supplies – mason jars, white vinyl, brown cardboard and a spot of glue), once ready we just filled up the jars with a sweet tea vodka cocktail and the boxes with popcorn for some tasty half time treats!
Every year I say to myself that I will not get in to the Christmas spirit until December 1, I always say ‘November is just too early’ to start celebrating – December 1st, December 1st, December 1st is when I will put up my decorations. However this year, something feels different, I couldn’t be more eager or excited to get in to the holiday spirit.
