Wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Halloween, everyone! You may have gotten some creativity out of your system at a costume party over the weekend, but it’s not too late to celebrate in style tonight, too. Whether you’re having a quiet dinner in like us (we’re celebrating one year of engaged life!) or stuffing your face with copious amounts of chocolate you can still stick to the spirit of the season with a spooky table setting. Throw in your favorite creepy cocktails and you’re good to go for the evening!
Summer is officially here! The sun’s out, the rosé is flowing and we’re filling up our weekends with beach days and BBQs. Today I’m sharing some of my favorite fruity fun themed summer essentials – from cute pineapple string lights to the most amazing watermelon cooler bag (I love love love this), these are sure to get you in the summer spirit.
pineapple string lights | red sunglasses | banana leaf clutch
watermelon pool float | pineapple towel bag | fruit iphone case
fruit pitcher | fruit slice pool float | pineapple tealights | watermelon cooler
The result of my Sunday funday apple picking was, as you might have guessed, being left with a bunch of fresh apples. I wasn’t sure what to do with them at first, as there are so many tempting options, but it didn’t take long to settle on something. After all, other than apple pie, what could be a better use of apples than making delicious, cinnamon-y applesauce!
I’ve said this over and over recently but fall truly is my favourite time of the year—I’ve literally been counting down the days until apple picking season. Last weekend the time was finally here, after moving our outing from Saturday to Sunday due to bad weather, we ventured out with friends to Melick’s Town Farm in Oldwick, NJ. Last year we visited several farms and struggled to find any apples to pick but at Melick’s we had no problem. From Golden Delicious to Joanagold, there was certainly no shortage. This plus the incredible weather—pure sunshine with a fall chill in the air—it was the perfect afternoon.
